The Director of Sales will be a dynamic, aggressive and outgoing sales professional who recognizes the importance of direct selling, building and maintaining relationships, outside sales calls, effective prospecting, internet marketing strategies, community involvement, civic responsibilities and integration with operations.  Revenue Management experience and expertise complement all strong candidates. Previous Hilton experience is beneficial but not critical. Knowledge of the St. Paul market is preferred.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct Sales
  • Hotel leadership, including developing and executing strategic and proactive direct sales efforts.
  • Meet or exceed top-line revenue and RevPAR Index goals.
  • Work with the team on developing and executing a strong pricing and revenue management program.
  • Motivate, evaluate and review sales personnel while communicating company goals and objectives.

The Guest Service Manager is a multi-dimensional role that requires performing multiple job duties, often simultaneously.  The Guest Service Manager coordinates front desk activities and ensures complete satisfaction of all guests. Additional responsibilities include: manage reservations and room assignments, oversee and assist with breakfast operations and respond to guest requests, inquiries and escalations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of hotel leadership experience
  • Exposure to all areas of hotel operations with an emphasis on rooms
  • Must have strong management and leadership capabilities
  • Hands-on, outgoing personality with excellent people skills
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and lead a team

The Sales Manager will be a dynamic, aggressive and outgoing sales professional who recognizes the importance of direct selling, building and maintaining relationships, outside sales calls, effective prospecting, internet marketing strategies, community involvement, civic responsibilities and integration with operations.  Revenue Management experience and expertise complement all strong candidates. Experience within the St. Paul market as well as previous Hilton experience are highly beneficial.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic and proactive sales efforts while executing a strong pricing and revenue management program
  • Meet or exceed top-line revenue and RevPAR Index goals
  • Solicit new business via outside sales calls/area blitzes, prospecting calls, CVB and Hilton lead generation as well as internet research and response to competitor’s reader boards to increase revenues and grow client base.
  • Increase Revenue in Rooms as well as Food and Beverage of existing LNR Accounts.
  • Maintain/Nurture relationships with existing clients
  • Prepare weekly reports: Sales Booking, Hot Prospect and Sales Initiatives.
  • Achieve Monthly Revenue Goals set by Corporate Budget.
  • Attend Trade shows, chamber events and meetings as designated by Director of Sales
